Christine R. Vlietstra, Physical Therapist

Christine Vlietstra graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences minoring in Psychology and Biology. She joined K Valley Orthopedics P.C. in 2004 after working for 2 years in the Chicago area.

Christine has lectured at the Illinois Physical Therapy Association conference, and to college bound students regarding the field of physical therapy. She organizes the student observation in the physical therapy department at K Valley Orthopedics, and has assisted with gait analysis and strength training lectures for marathon runners. During the fall, Christine assists the KVO physicians with open clinic for high school athletes.

Christine has personally experienced ACL reconstructive surgery with subsequent physical therapy and played eight years of soccer.
