Mary Vajgrt, M.D.

Dr. Vajgrt was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, however, she grew up in Red Wing, Minnesota. In 1997, Dr. Vajgrt graduated from Indiana University where she was a 4 year Varsity letter-winner in golf, and Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. After completing her Family Practice residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, she went on to a Sports Medicine Fellowship through MSU-KCMS in Kalamazoo.

Dr. Vajgrt is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice (2005) and recently received her certification of added qualifications in Sports Medicine (2006).  She began her career in primary care sports medicine when she was hired by K Valley Orthopedics in August 2005.  Her interests include women’s health and preventative medicine, and sports injuries.

Outside of the office, Dr. Vajgrt has a variety of interests including hiking, golfing, fitness activities, cooking, and scrap booking.
