Quinter M. Burnett, M.D.
Dr. Burnett was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan and Wayne State Medical School, he finished an Orthopedic Residency at Grand Rapids and a Sports Medicine Fellowship in shoulder and knee surgery at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He has been licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan since 1982, and board certified in Orthopedic surgery since 1986. He has been a partner at K Valley Orthopedics and the Southwestern Sportsmedicine Clinic since 1991.
Dr. Burnett is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Michigan Orthopedic Society, and the U.S. Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Society.
Dr. Burnett is a team physician for Western Michigan University and the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He has been a Clinical Instructor for the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies since 1984.
Dr. Burnett enjoys skiing, golf, kayaking, and running.
